· About today's shape
The simplest weave there is: one thread over, one thread under, repeated until it holds. The warp runs the height of the cloth and is held under tension; the weft crosses it. Nothing is knotted and nothing is glued — the fabric stays whole purely because of the order in which the threads pass each other.
